What We're Reading

I (Belle) am reading Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien. I love it! It's a great book and I can't wait to watch the movies at some point. =)

I (Gabriella) am reading Return of the King too! It's really wonderful, I continue to find it a very wonderful, captivating, scary novel. I love the close friendships of Frodo and Sam, and Pippin and Merry.

Music by the Imagination Movers... it's taking us back to when we were like 6 and 8 and used to listen to it all the time. 😝 Now we're enjoying sharing it with our little siblings!

Also Jonathan Park, audio adventures we've been listening to for years. They are the best and are a lot of fun. They teach a lot about Creation, Evolution, science, history and how to defend the Creation worldview and refute Evolution, while being fun and adventurous at the same time! We had all of the original CDs but most of them have broken, so this month us girls collectively bought a month of Jonathan Park Unlimited. =)

What We're Watching

We recently finished watching The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and LOVED it! We're all quoting it and everything and it's awesome. Date night that week (this post tells what that is for us, if you don't know) we watched the bloopers and some of the audio commentary of it, which was very fun! =)

We're also watching Andy Griffith a whole lot! We really like that show.

What We're Doing

When we moved here from CA we had to sell some of our games and stuff, thinking we'd rebuy them when we got here, but we forgot to make a list of them so that we'd know exactly what to rebuy! Monopoly was one of the things and we just rebought it finally. =) We love that game!

For 4th of July we sat on our lawn and watched the fireworks next door at the stadium! We live literally right next to it, and lots of people come sit in front of our house to watch them. =)

Lily's birthday was last month, and she got a tent from Mom and Dad. She loves it. She has it set up outside, like, all the time and goes out there sometimes just to read. That night she also went out to dinner with Mom and Dad. =)

We went to the National D-Day Memorial for a "1940's Homefront Festival" which was so awesome! Some of us dressed up, it was so cool. We're definitely going again next year!
