First, sorry this is SO late. I had written it but not published it for some reason and then forgotten about it. 😛
Father's Day was very fun! For breakfast we had crepes and zuchinni bread (sooo gooood...) and then we went on a hike at Devil's Marble Yard (near Natural Bridge). It was really cool, although we didn't end up going far enough to actually see the boulders the place was named for.
On the way home we saw a turtle walking across the road! We got out and helped him not die by placing him safely on the other side - not without taking pictures though! =)
Then we stopped by KFC - one of Daddy's favorites - and brought some fried chicken home to eat with homemade mashed potatoes. It was good. =)
Then at 4:00 we went out for frozen yogurt! Because of that and the late lunch (2:30) we didn't have an official dinner - anyone who got hungry could have a bowl of cereal! That was fun. =)
As if it couldn't get better, we watched 1/3 of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe after Rush and Charlotte went to bed! Lily and Juliet had never seen it and Gabby and I (Belle) hadn't in a very long time. We didn't have time to finish the whole movie, but we watched it in parts that week.
Overall, it was a very fun day! Comment and tell us what you did for Father's Day!
